My Story
My name is Harshani Gunasekara, a Gemologist and jewelry designer, born and raised in the vibrant gem city of Ratnapura, Sri Lanka. My journey into the gem business began in 2012, inspired by my family's legacy in the industry, particularly my father, Priyantha Gunasekara, owner of Priyantha Gems and Lapidary.
From a young age, I was captivated by the beauty of sapphires and other gemstones. This passion led me to pursue a degree in Gemology at the University of Moratuwa, complemented by a Bachelor's in Business Administration in China, where I immersed myself in both academic and practical experiences in the gem trade.
